A snapped cambelt can result in engine damage running to thousands of pounds, replacement at the right time can prevent this. (Many forums advocate replacement BEFORE the recommended time, and replacing the water pump at the same time - VAG 1.8T in particular).
Incorrect wheel alignment can affect handling, fuel consumption and tyre wear, accurate setting of BOTH front and rear wheels is critical.
